Our Story
Chris & Jean Pal-Freeman hail from the bike and beer cultures of the Pacific Northwest. The dream of combining his love for two wheels, craft beer and their love of really good food has landed them at their newest venture, Breakaway Brewing Co.
The brewery is located at 1518 E. Grayson Street, in the Government Hill Neighborhood, right across from Historic Ft. Sam Houston — a fitting location for a military brat like Chris.
Our focus is to become the local gathering place — an intimate public house of yore — for friends, families, co-workers, neighbors, cyclists, and, of course, craft beer lovers all to call home.
